All classes are 45min long
$10 per class/$8 for PCYC members

Relay for Life

CrossFit North Queensland/Finomenal Fitness are entering a Team in Relay for life this year May 30/31st 2009.
We will be doing training walks* every Tuesday at 5:30pm starting at the carpark at Riverway, (replacing the 5:30pm evening aqua sessions on the time table) Anyone is welcome to come with us. Those who are part of our team will walk for free, from everyone else we are asking for a $5 donation that will go to our teams fundraising.
* Training walks will also inculde a variety of body weight exercises to increase general fitness and wellbeing.

Finomenal Fitness became Australia's First Offical CrossFit Affiliate, one of only 3 in Australia, in May 2006


World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
